Currently, due to Covid – 19, New Zealand is currently in a state of emergency. Due to this, there are restrictions on what and how different businesses can operate.
In short if your business is not deemed essential you must remain home and operate remotely, with no interaction outside of your household.

For many non-essential businesses, this has resulted in complete closure and a halt of income despite the continuation of outgoing costs. These restrictions have also halted all non-essential online retail amongst many other retailers and services. These restrictions will be enforced until New Zealand drops to Level 3 restrictions.
So far, under these restrictions non-face to face services will begin to operate, this includes the likes of takeaway food, food delivery service, online retail etc.
